Black Hole Spin and Relativistic Jets

Abstract: Spin parameters of stellar-mass black holes have been successfully measured during the last few years. As a result, it is now possible to investigate what effect spin has on observational manifestations of accreting black holes. It is found that the power of relativistic jets in accreting black holes depends on the black hole spin.
