WORKSHOP: GWTC-6: The Bleeding Edge of Gravitational-wave Populations

From April 20–22, CITA will be hosting “GWTC-6: The Bleeding Edge of Gravitational-Wave Populations.” At this interactive workshop, LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA members will gather to analyze forthcoming catalogs of gravitational-wave (GW) data.
Special Open Session for CITA & UofT Researchers:
While the main workshop is for LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA members, we warmly invite all researchers at CITA and UofT to join us for the opening morning on Monday, April 20 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
This open session will provide an overview of the current state of the field, explore how GW research connects with other branches of astrophysics, and feature talks from our very own Reed Essick, Claire Ye, Maya Fishbach, and Josh Speagle.
Location:
All sessions will take place in the Seminar Room (MP1318A) unless otherwise noted.
Interim Program: Monday, April 20
