Abstract: I will review recent theoretical and observational developments related to galaxy clustering as a tracer of large scale structure. Topics included will be shot noise and sampling variance errors and how to reduce them, galaxy-dark matter connection, and galaxy clustering as a probe of non-gaussianity and modified gravity.
