Job App Hackathon 2024
What?
The CITA mentorship committee is once again hosting a Job App Hackathon! The CITA Job App Hackathon is an opportunity to prepare job application materials and get feedback from peers and mentors, including several CITA, Dunlap, and Physics faculty. In addition to co-writing sessions in the morning and afternoon, attendees will be able to sign-up for short one-on-one meetings with faculty.
When and Where?
This year’s event will take place on Mon 30 Sept 2024 on the 13th floor of McLennan Phys Labs from ~9:30am – 4:30pm (stay for as much or as little as you like).

Registration is free. The event is intended for postdocs and grad students who are applying for new positions, but everyone is welcome to attend!
Schedule:
- 09:30 – 09:45 welcome
- 09:45 – 10:00 introduction to the application process
- 10:00 – 12:00 co-writing session
- 12:00 – 14:00 lunch
- 14:00 – 16:00 co-writing session discussion
- 16:00 – 16:15 closing remarks
