News from the FRB Universe

Abstract: I summarize some recent developments in FRB observation and theory, including the two CHIME Nature papers from Jan 9, and updates from the Weizmann FRB workshop. The talk will focus on two aspects: might FRB”s be, and what are FRB”s likely useful for. I will end in a forward look towards near and longer term initiatives.
