Outreach

I have volunteered for Girls in STEM Workshop, University of Toronto, as a Leader. These are workshop oragnized for girls from grades 6-9 to encourange them in the field of STEM through hands-on activities. I am a Co-Leader for the Astronomy based workshop. We have used various exercise that are easy to understand to explain black holes, ditances in the universe, projection effect, gravitational wave and the observing panet using transity method.

In the past, I have been part of AstroTours at University of Toronto, where I was the Keynote Director for two years. I was a lead organizor for the annual Astronomy Keynote Lecture. I have done similar job in my undergraduate as a Symposium Director and Coordinator for three years at Astronomy and Space Exploration Society. There I organized the annual Astronomy Symposium that hosted three speakers from all over the world to come and give public lecture.
