About me

I have a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophyiscs from the University of Toronto. My thesis was on understanding the structure and stability star forming regions. It consists of multiply projects under the supervision of Prof. Christopher Matzner and Prof. Peter Martin.

My projects combine theory, observations and simuations to get a better understanding of molecular clouds. For one of my projects, I am creating a python based pipe-line to generate high resolution dust optical depth and temperature maps of various molecular clouds, using sub-milimeter data from Herschel Space Observatory. I am also workingss on creating a new strategy to directly estimate the energy content of projected molecular clouds. You can learn more about my projects here.
