CITA operates a high-performance computing cluster for batch workloads comprising 200 homogeneous compute nodes, complemented by additional high-core-count servers, providing approximately 10,000 physical CPU cores in total. In addition, CITA maintains large-memory interactive servers (up to 1 TB RAM each) for interactive computing and software development.
CITA provides approximately 3.2 PB of local storage, with most filesystems accessible across all computing platforms. In the office, postdoctoral researchers have access to a gigabit network connection for either a dedicated Linux workstation or a laptop. Professional computing staff maintain up-to-date compilers and scientific software and provide consultation and support for software development and high-performance computing.
