UTAS

A new agreement between DA and UTAS relating to ETP and harmonized undergraduate program delivery is described in § 2.2.3 and § 2.2.4. Successful implementation of this agreement - and realization of the added benefit of restoring strength to the DA graduate program - depends on having the extra faculty appointments required above those needed for our undergraduate St. George undergraduate commitments (one or two, depending on the undergraduate teaching assignment of Dyer at UTAS). We understand that discussions are taking place between the Dean of Arts and Science and the Principal of UTAS to determine the most appropriate way of funding the positions within the overall University Plan.
