You can download IRIS data for a specific region of the sky
using the IRSA interface at the Infrared Processing and Analysis Center
(IRSA).
The IRIS data are available on the SkyView server.
The IRIS data are also vailable through the Centre de Données astronomiques
de Strasbourg (CDS) via
Aladin .
The data are available on this site in the Healpix format (resolution 1024 and 2048)
and in the original ISSA format (430 images of 500x500 pixels - 12.5deg x 12.5 deg - for each band).
IRAS has observed most of the sky in three different epoch. Here we provide
the images as tar.gz files for the individual epoch (HCON1, HCON2 and HCON3) and the co-added maps (with the original
unobserved regions left undefined or filled with DIRBE).
All these images can be downloaded from the following table.
Most users will want to download the "Co-added maps - no holes".
WARNING
2006/07/03 :
A few pixels of the nohole maps in Healpix Nside=2048 are undefined (value=-32768).
Projection software :IDL routines to produce mosaiques of IRIS maps can be dowloaded here.
There is a README file in the tar archive that gives instructions on how to install and use the routines.
This set of routines requires the ASTRO library
