I'm a postdoc at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA). Before this, I was at the University of British Columbia where I got my PhD in 2012 under the supervision of Dr. Jeremy Heyl.
My research interests include:
- GRB and AGN jets: Spectral modeling of jets, radiative transfer, kinetic simulations, jet geometry, jet composition, high energy processes
- Neutron stars: Magnetar giant flares, population synthesis, cooling of isolated NSs
- Relativistic plasmas: Plasma waves, mode coupling to radiation, turbulence, magnetic reconnection
- Axions: Constraints on axion properties from polarization measurements, and from Blazar physics
My collaborators include Dr. Jeremy Heyl, Dr. Chris Thompson.
