Elemental Intrinsic Function (Generic): Produces the arcsine of x.

Syntax

result = ASIN (x)

x
(Input) Must be of type real. The | x | must be less than or equal to 1.

Results

The result type is the same as x and is expressed in radians. The value lies in the range -pi/2 to pi/2.
