Submillimeter polarization in the Orion Nebula
M. Dragovan;
ApJ, 1986, 308, 270
ABSTRACT:Linear polarization measurements, obtained at 270 microns with the 0.91-m telescope of the NASA Kuyper
Airborne Observatory in September 1983 and January and November 1984, are
reported for three regions in Ori.
The large-scale magnetic field inferred
from the measurements is shown to be uniform on the 0.4-pc scale of the
beams.
