The summer undergraduate course CTA200H ‘Introduction to Astrophysical Computing’ will run from May 6-17, 2019, 1-5pm daily, in McLennan annex building room 257. Instructors:

  • Professor Norm Murray

This two-week undergraduate course will provide an introduction to computational astrophysics. The main emphasis of the course is on the tools for efficient and effective use of computers in scientific research (both within and outside of astrophysics). We will touch on many topics, to give a sense of the usefulness of each tool, and enough basics to make it easy to learn it in more depth.
