The summer undergraduate course CTA200H ‘Introduction to Astrophysical Computing’ will run from May 3-13, 2022, 1-5pm daily. This course will be held in hybrid mode. In person instruction will be in MP 257. For those unable to attend in person, instruction will be via zoom.

  • Professor Norm Murray

This two-week undergraduate course will provide an introduction to computational astrophysics. The main emphasis of the course is on the tools for efficient and effective use of computers in scientific research (both within and outside of astrophysics). We will touch on many topics, to give a sense of the usefulness of each tool, and enough basics to make it easy to learn it in more depth.
