Into the Wilderness.....
This page contains a summary of some trips I've taken in Algonquin
and Killarney Parks (both in Ontario, Canada) There are notes on some of
the terrain and campsites, general notes about taking this sort of trip,
and some random observations. This may be helpful to people planning similar
trips.
Trips
1997 - Algonquin
Park, West End - This was a one week canoeing trip in the west
of the park, in the last week of September.
1998 -
Algonquin Park, North East - This was a two week canoeing trip
in the north east of the park in the first two weeks of October.
1999 -
Killarney Park - An eight day hiking trip around the La Cloche
Sillhouette Trail in Killarney Park.
