Research Interests

My main research interests are in observational cosmology, in particular, I use weak gravitational lensing to study the dark matter distribution in the universe. I am involved in the Canada-France-Hawaii-Telescope Legacy Survey (CFHTLS), the largest survey of its kind. A related topic is the study of galaxy clusters. I am part of the Red-sequence Cluster Survey (RCS) team. Currently we are conducting a RCS2, a 1000 sq. deg. survey, the largest in the world! I also study the mass distribution in individual clusters, galaxies, etc. More recently I have started investigating a novel technique to find binary stars.
