 +======Pulsar Scintillometry with VLBI======
 +=====Toronto, Ontario, Canada =====
 +=====October 16th to October 20th, 2017=====
 +2017 is the fiftieth anniversary of the discovery of the pulsar and Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI).  In the past twenty years, VLBI has been used in pulsar observations to study pulsar scintillation and scattering due to density variations in the ionized interstellar medium (IISM).  With VLBI, it is possible to characterize and in some cases image the scattered image of the pulsar.  This workshop will focus on recent progress made in this area, including theory of scintillation, new results and improvement of techniques in the investigation of the ISM through pulsar observations, the characterization of pulsar scintillation and removal of pulsar scintillation from observationsand the study of pulsars using the scattered images to obtain very high spatial resolution.
