GOTPM? Welcome to a new parallel code for cosmological N-body simulations that combines the best of PM and tree codes. In the near future, you will be able to obtain a copy of the code here and there will be other bits of useful information. Stay tuned. Contact me if you're interested.

COSMIC FLIGHT

Click on this image to fly through the dark matter universe and watch the evolution of structure from the Big Bang to the present (File size is 50MB). This animation was generated from a GOTPM simulation of an LCDM (Omega=0.3 Lambda=0.7) model in a 100 Mpc/h box. The simulation computes PM forces on a 1024^3 mesh and used 512^3 particles in total. It took a couple of days to compute on 256 processors. The animation is from the perspective an observer flying from end to end of the simulation cube in comoving coordinates from z=50 to z=0. The field of view is about 120 degrees across.
