We are very pleased to announce the UofT Stepping Up Program Award 2008 for our CITA Business Officer Nina Duras!
Individuals or Teams can be nominated for this award based on their direct contribution to the University’s and/or the Divisional Stepping UP Plan. These plans will provide the foundation to establish criteria for rewarding individuals who significantly contribute towards the University’s vision to be a leader among the world’s best public teaching and research universities in the discovery, preservation and sharing of knowledge and our mission to be a student-centred public teaching and research university. About the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics. The Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) is a world-class, nationally supported, research center for studies in theoretical astrophysics and related subjects hosted by the University of Toronto. The primary missions of CITA are to foster interaction within the Canadian theoretical astrophysics community and to serve as an international center of excellence for theoretical studies in astrophysics. CITA receives research support from a collaborative special project grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), as well as the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR).
